Who we are

ShikBaris Holidays plans domestic India tour packages and chauffeur-driven car rental, mainly from Madurai and Chennai. We do not sell international holidays as a primary product. Contact us on +91 9 52 552 5552 or booking@shikbaris.com.

Enquiries and quotations

An enquiry on this website is a request for a quote, not a confirmed booking. Package starting prices shown on the site are indicative, in Indian Rupees, and may change with season, hotel category, vehicle type and dates.

We do not publish car-rental fares on the website. Chauffeur-driven rates are quoted after we know pickup, drop, dates, vehicle and duty type (airport, city, outstation or one-way).

Bookings and payment

A booking is confirmed only after we send written confirmation (email or WhatsApp) and receive the agreed advance. Remaining payment is due as stated in that confirmation, usually before travel starts.

Payments should be made only to bank or UPI details we share in writing. We are not responsible for amounts sent to any other account.

What is included

Inclusions are those listed in your confirmation — typically selected hotels, private transfers or a chauffeur-driven vehicle, and the sightseeing mentioned in the itinerary. Anything not listed is extra: meals unless stated, monuments, tips, personal expenses, extra kilometres, night charges, tolls, parking and permits unless we have included them in writing.

Changes, cancellation and refunds

Hotel rooms, cabs and permits are reserved in your name. Cancellation charges depend on supplier rules and how close you are to the travel date. We will state the cancellation window in your confirmation.

Refunds, if any, are processed to the original payer after we recover supplier refunds, and can take time. No-shows and unused services are not refundable.

Car rental

Vehicles are chauffeur-driven. Self-drive is not offered unless we confirm it in writing. The traveller must provide accurate pickup details and keep a reachable phone number.

• Usage is limited to the hours and kilometres in the quote unless extended and paid for.
• Hill, night, outstation and one-way duties may attract extra charges as quoted.
• We may substitute an equivalent vehicle if the booked car is unavailable.
• The chauffeur’s rest, local law and road conditions apply. Unsafe requests will be refused.

Your responsibilities

You must carry valid government ID, follow hotel and vehicle rules, and treat staff and property with care. Damage, fines or extra hotel charges billed to us will be recovered from you. We may refuse or end a service if a guest is abusive, intoxicated or putting others at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
